Salesforce’s Power of Us Program

The Power of Us Program is a Salesforce program that provides non-profit organizations, higher education and K-12 with access to Salesforce products and resources at a discounted or no cost through a grant. The program is intended to help organizations improve their operations and better serve their communities.

The program includes access to Salesforce’s solutions, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, as well as the Salesforces Experience Cloud, which is a platform for creating and managing online communities. The Power of Us Program offers additional resources such as training, webinars, and best practices.

The Power of Us Program is open to eligible organizations around the world. Non-profit organizations must have current 501(c)(3) status or 501(c)(4).

In order to qualify for the Power of Us organizations will need to go through an application process that will ask you for your Tax ID & Legal Documentation. If you are eligible Salesforce will donate 10 donated licenses of Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud and deep discounts on other products and services offered by Salesforce.

There are other benefits as well. The Salesforce Appexchange is a marketplace of applications that are built-on Salesforce or integrated to the platform. The companies that build these applications may also provide discounts to their subscriptions if you qualify as a nonprofit organization.

If you are an association or nonprofit organization that qualifies for the Power of US you will need to know which licenses you should select. For instance, if you are an association and want to manage your memberships, we’d recommend applying for the 10 free Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud licenses. If you are a pure nonprofit organization that needs to track fundraising and/or program management, you may want to use Salesforce with the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
